Sports Broadcasting

Since retiring from professional sport Anna has developed a career in sports broadcasting. This has been a dream of Anna’s for many years and she is delighted to finally be able to develop this passion. Anna is a great communicator and it is through her career as a motivational speaker that Anna developed her skills as a presenter. She has now learned to translate those skills into the realm of TV and radio presenting.

Sport is Anna’s passion and has been her life for the last 20 years, she says “I love playing sport, talking about it, watching it and listening to it!” Anna has an infectious personality; she’s full of energy and has a great knowledge of a variety of different sports. Combine this with her experience as an Olympian and World Champion and you have someone who is able to talk about sport from the unique perspective of someone who has been there and done it.

Anna has presented on BBC sport, BBC News channel and is a regular commentator for Eurosport at the Canoeing European Championships and World Championships.

Anna has been working with Andy Daniels (GB team canoeist) to create some features for the canoeing world class performance programme; below you can see some of her interviews and features from the 2009  and 2010 seasons.
